Walkthrough

The Path is hull #2 of the highly sought after 45' Northwest design.

The stern access is from the swim platform through the starboard side transom door to a large cockpit area. The cockpit features a sink and prep/storage area and a custom rod holder to port which includes an electrical power source for an electric reel. There is also a custom three-rod holder installed at the transom, and just above at the aft end of the boat deck are two holders accommodating six rods. Passage forward is on the starboard side with a wide deck and high bulwarks for safety underway.

Salon access is through a Diamond Seaglaze sliding door. The salon features large windows, which create a very open feeling. To port there is an L-shaped settee with a hi/lo table along with a table and chair to starboard.

The full-featured galley is to port with all the amenities needed for extended cruising. Access to the pilothouse is to starboard. The well laid out Pilothouse is equipped with sliding doors, both port to starboard. Also featured is a settee and table aft of the helm chair.

Down three steps from the salon is access to the living quarters. Two twin bunks are featured in the guest stateroom to port, with the head located across to starboard, Moving forward, the laundry center is to starboard, and the master stateroom includes a centerline island queen berth, an abundance of built-in storage, along with a spacious head with a separate stall shower.

Returning to the topsides, access to the Portuguese bridge is via port or starboard pilothouse sliding doors. The foredeck features a bench cushioned seat, windlass and pulpit. All major deck areas have been outfitted with custom Sea Dek synthetic decking for easy maintenance and comfort.

Access to the flybridge and boat deck are via the port side where the very large deck area offers dinghy storage and is equipped  with a 2000-lb davit. The flybridge features bench seating integrated with large storage areas.

Engine room access is via a deck hatch adjacent to the galley. This area is very well designed for ease of service of all installed equipment. A sea chest design is utilized to reduce the number of thru-hulls used. The engine room is very well insulated, therefore the interior spaces are remarkably quiet.

"The Path" is equipped with a bow thruster and a remarkable, effective articulated rudder, which when hard over, deploys the trailing edge flap at a higher angle of attack, thereby increasing maneuverability.
